MoCA Test Inc. (“MoCA Cognition”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information responsibly.
This Digital Tools Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) explains how MoCA Cognition collects, uses, discloses, stores, and otherwise processes information when you access or use our digital tools, including XpressO™, CHAI™, and any other digital tools that we may make available from time to time (collectively, the “Digital Tools”).
This Privacy Policy should be read together with the Digital Tools Terms of Use, which govern your access to and use of the Digital Tools.
2. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies when you access the Digital Tools through a website or platform operated by one of MoCA Cognition’s commercial, healthcare, research, or other strategic partners (each, a “Partner”).
If you later choose to register for and access the Digital Tools through the MoCA Cognition portal, the collection, use, and disclosure of your information in connection with the portal and certain portal features may be governed by separate terms of use and privacy policies.
3. Information We Collect
MoCA Cognition has designed the Digital Tools to minimize the collection of directly identifiable information. When you access the Digital Tools through a Partner, MoCA Cognition does not ask you to create an account or provide your name, email address, or other direct personal identifiers.
Depending on the Digital Tool you access, MoCA Cognition may collect information provided through or generated by your use of the Digital Tools, including:
- questionnaire and cognitive assessment responses;
- cognitive assessment results and recommendations, where applicable;
- demographic, health, and lifestyle information collected through the Digital Tools;
- technical and usage information relating to your use of the Digital Tools and your device;
- information relating to your interactions with the Digital Tools, such as completion status and timestamps;
- information collected through cookies and similar technologies, where applicable; and
- other information reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, improve, secure, validate, and support the Digital Tools.
4. How We Use Your Information
MoCA Cognition uses the information collected through the Digital Tools to:
- provide, operate, maintain, and support the functionality of the Digital Tools;
- generate and display results, reports, and personalized recommendations, where applicable;
- monitor usage, performance, reliability, and security of the Digital Tools;
- troubleshoot technical issues and maintain the quality of the Digital Tools;
- generate aggregated and de-identified statistics and reports;
- conduct quality assurance, validation, and product improvement activities;
- comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements; and
- protect the rights, property, safety, and security of MoCA Cognition, our users, and others.
5. Information Shared with Partners
Although you may access the Digital Tools through a Partner, MoCA Cognition does not intentionally disclose your personal information to the Partner through the Digital Tools unless otherwise disclosed to you or required by applicable law.
Partners may receive aggregated and de-identified information relating to the use of the Digital Tools by users referred through the Partner. Such information may include usage statistics, completion rates, outcome distributions, aggregated demographic summaries, and other statistical information that does not identify any individual, as agreed between MoCA Cognition and the applicable Partner.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Digital Tools may use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the operation, security, and performance of the Digital Tools. Where permitted or required by applicable law, MoCA Cognition may also use cookies or similar technologies for analytics or service improvement.
Where required by applicable law, you will be provided with appropriate choices regarding non-essential cookies.
7. Data Retention
MoCA Cognition retains information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with legal or regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, protect our legal interests, and enforce our agreements.
Aggregated and de-identified information may be retained indefinitely for statistical analysis, quality assurance, product improvement, and research purposes.

The Digital Tools are hosted in Canada. Information collected through the Digital Tools is generally processed and stored in Canada, although MoCA Cognition and its service providers may process information in other jurisdictions where necessary to operate and support the Digital Tools.
Where personal information is transferred across borders, MoCA Cognition implements appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Because MoCA Cognition does not ask you to provide your name, email address, or other direct personal identifiers when you access the Digital Tools through a Partner, we may not be able to identify you or locate information associated with your use of the Digital Tools.
Accordingly, MoCA Cognition may be unable to respond to requests relating to your information unless you provide sufficient information to enable us to identify the relevant records.
