XpressO is a quick and fun assessment that can assess your ability to learn, think, and remember.
XpressO was created by cognitive neurologist and creator of the MoCA Test, Dr. Ziad Nasreddine along with his team. The MoCA Test—or Montreal Cognitive Assessment—is a widely adopted medical screening test used by healthcare professionals worldwide for early detection of cognitive decline and mild cognitive impairment (MCI). Recently, an international panel of expert selected the MoCA as the number one screening test for detecting individuals in the early stage of Alzheimer’s disease (Tim et al. Outcome measures for Alzheimer’s disease: A global inter-societal Delphi consensus, 2023).
Before XpressO begins, we will ask for some general information so that we could let you know if you may be suitable to participate in a future clinical research trial or potentially get access to new disease-modifying therapies as they become available.
XpressO looks and feels like a game. It is a bit challenging but shouldn’t be a stressful experience. Try it out in a quiet, private setting.
After all XpressO tasks are completed, you will see your performance results that include Accuracy and Speed scores. You should discuss any memory or brain health concerns with your doctor.
